A kind family provides happiness to a stray cat and her six kittens.

Animals living on the streets have an awful and unpredictable future. Even worse, since she is a woman when she becomes pregnant, her maternal instincts force her to fight valiantly to protect the things that are most important to her.

A stray cat and her litter of six kittens were found in South Los Angeles. The kittens required foster care since they were only two days old at the time.

A volunteer with Wrenn Rescues named Jen Marder came up and picked them up. And the mother cat immediately won her over with her unwavering affection.

As soon as I opened the carrier, she pushed up against me and expressed her want for love. She was quite chatty and expressed her want for my attention. She was cuddling and purring in my arms, Jen recalled.
