As he relished his sister’s existence, the child, apparently overcome by his feelings of happiness, love, and amazement, could not help but cry.
The toddler brushed away his tears with the sleeve of his sweater and then returned to staring at his sister, who suddenly hiccupped.
“She cannot respond, but she understands what you are saying,” his father added. Mom said, “You can say whatever you want to her.”
However, the child lacked the ability to articulate his feelings. So, he simply smiled and tightly hugged his sister.
