Celine Dion has released a video detailing her health issues, and fans are understandably concerned about the singer.

Since the singer looked to have shed a substantial amount of weight, magazines have been exploring the subject of her health. Concerned followers voiced their opinion that she has changed drastically.

On the other side, she requested privacy and was told to remain quiet. The Canadian-born singer recently told The Sun, “If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it,” in response to critics of her appearance. Ignore it. Don’t snap a photo. I’ll go if you think it’s fun. Leave me alone if you don’t.”

However, it was recently revealed by one of her representatives that Dion has muscular spasm, which hinders her performance abilities. Due to the epidemic that changed the lives of so many, Celine Dion had to postpone her performances in Las Vegas in November of this year and again from January 19 to February 5, 2022.

According to the statement, Celine has been suffering from “severe and persistent muscle spasms” that have been preventing her from performing.

The doctors are still taking a look at her and giving her treatments. Her problems, however, prevent her from taking part in the new show’s continuing rehearsals.

The singer sent an Instagram message expressing her sadness for postponed performances and health problems.

To all: “Hello. It has taken me too long to write to you. Dion stated in the video, “I miss you all so much, and I can’t wait to be on stage talking to you in person.”

“As you know, I’ve always been a free source of information; I just wasn’t prepared to say anything until now. For a long time, I’ve been struggling with health issues, and it’s been hard for me to confront these difficulties and discuss all that I’ve been going through.

“Recently, I was diagnosed with the stiff-person syndrome, a neurological condition that affects just about one in a million individuals. We now know that my spasms have been caused by a rare ailment that we are currently studying about. I have trouble walking and can’t utilise my voice like I used to because of these spasms, which negatively impact every part of my life.

She said, “It’s been a struggle, but I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again.” To sing is all I know. It’s what I’ve been doing for the most of my life, and it’s also my greatest passion.

You are much missed. I long to be back on stage in front of you all, playing for you. She said, “I always give my everything throughout my gigs, but my health is finally enabling me to offer you that today.

I want to thank you so much for your encouraging words and love and support on my social media,” Dion said as the video came to a close. To me, this is quite significant.

Please watch out for yourself. All the best. I miss all of you and want to see you again as soon as possible.

Dion has deep roots in the Sin City and considers it her second home. Her relationship with the “Sin City” started in 2003, when she kicked off a four-year Las Vegas residency that would ultimately earn more than $385 million.

Years later, during a residency at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Dion reportedly performed 1,141 times, setting a new world record.

In addition, she has the two highest-selling residencies in history.

Due to her ongoing health problems, Dion has delayed the start of her tour, which was originally scheduled to begin in May 2022. And she put off moving to Sin City for the time being.

Just from her first two residencies in Sin City, she made $680 million. Her 2019 earnings were $37 million, giving her a reported net worth of over $800 million.

The singer reportedly lost almost $70 million in revenue due to her inability to perform, depending on the amount she made from her Celine residency show.

She’s glad she got to spend more time with her kids on her vacation, however.
