Dolly Parton has announced her retirement from touring so she may devote more time to her family.

Dolly Parton has announced that she will no longer be touring, but she will continue to make songs. Parton is a legendary singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Her fans are looking forward to seeing her perform again regardless of this decision.

Dolly said in an interview with Pollystar that although she may perform at some exhibitions often, she has no intentions to go on a full tour. Instead, she plans to spend more time with her husband Carl Thomas Dean, to whom she has been married for more than half a century, and focus on songwriting.

Dolly and Carl’s first encounter was in the parking lot of a Nashville, Tennessee, laundromat in 1964. Carl said about Dolly in an interview with Leisure Tonight, “My first thought was, ‘I am gonna marry that lady.'”

My subsequent thinking was, “Good lord, she’s hot.” My whole existence began on that day. The past half-century is something I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.

Dolly now wants to spend most of her time with her husband, rather than travelling for lengthy periods of time since she is worried about being away from home in case of an emergency. She is now working on her record and supposedly doing a Christmas special for NBC this year.

In addition, Dolly is working on the film Run, Rose, Run starring Reese Witherspoon. We fans are excited for Dolly to continue making music and applaud her past efforts.
