Akshaj Khadelwal, a 3-year-old boy from Delhi, India, was born with Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome (KTS), which affects just one in one hundred thousand individuals.
After receiving treatment, he was able to regain full mobility and return to his normal development. Akshaj Khadelwal’s feet would ‘leed’ after just a few steps. The boys can’t all go to school together.
However, Akshaj had no idea what was wrong with him. As far as he was concerned, having a gimpy limb was a blessing that would one day help him become a superhero, and he considered himself very fortunate to possess one.
Fear of being infected causes many people to discriminate against and avoid the victim. My parents are really anxious that I will be bullied at school as I mature.
