Within hours after her touching rescue, a scared stray puppy’s journey from fear to a need for love began. When a kind family saw a little bulldog mix puppy curled up on their porch,
they immediately contacted Stray Rescue of St. Louis to ask for help. The incident was posted by Stray Rescue of St. Louis in a heartfelt Facebook video, with the caption,
“We received a call that a small dog showed up on someone’s porch.” She wouldn’t get up, so they assumed she could be hurt.
Growling from the trembling puppy welcomed Chief Life Saving Officer Donna Lochmann as she arrived at the scene. It was obvious that the dog was in great suffering.
Despite the puppy’s initial aggressiveness and terror, Donna approached her patiently, giving her food and using calming language.
