On June 11th, when we successfully retrieved Moka, my heart shattered. He was found at a puppy mill together with other canines.
These defenseless animals were left hungry and in a precarious situation when the person who had hired the space to operate their
company was forced to leave once their operation was exposed. The pups were underweight and in bad condition, so we made the quick decision to take them in
Police and local officials finally saved the canines, but not before they had suffered significant stress. We hurried them to our vet so they could get the attention and care they need. In spite of the challenging conditions, they gave an excellent performance.
