Shadow was a stray canine who had made a home for himself among the trash on the far outskirts of Athens, Greece.

The fate of Shadow was tragically altered when she was discovered by a kind volunteer from SPAZ, a rescue group. The skinny, fragile Shadow looked very
sick and had a cold, unwelcoming demeanor at first. Her state was an indication of the difficult life she had lived, and she was not to blame.
It took the committed group of volunteers three difficult days to capture Shadow, therefore it was no easy task to rescue her.
