The world of dog rescue is full with heartbreaking realities, such as the fact that not every rescued dog makes it.
Janine Guido, the kind spirit of Speranza Animal Rescue, recently witnessed this heartbreaking reality when she met paths with a dog called Watson.
Janine could tell immediately that Watson, a Pit Bull, had been through hell and back; his fragile, tired appearance suggested that he was on the verge of death.
A week previously, a kind Samaritan rescued Watson from a park and brought him to Speranza Animal Rescue.
A big malignant growth had formed on the dog’s rear leg, and he was malnourished and covered in sores. Unfortunately, the cancer had already metastasized, making therapy hopeless.
