Many of us recognise Pierce Brosnan as the iconic James Bond, the smooth international agent who woos beautiful women in far-flung locales. While Brosnan’s portrayal of the British secret service agent has become famous, the actor’s off-screen life couldn’t be more different.
Brosnan, who is now 69 years old (how did that happen?! ), has had a distinguished and fruitful career in the entertainment business. Not only that, but he has built up quite the fan base, with supporters from all corners of the globe.
There’s really no need to be surprised by Pierce Brosnan’s former status as “The Sexiest Man Alive.” However, when it comes to love, the famous actor only has eyes for his wife, Keely Shaye Smith.
They supposedly first met at a party in 1994 in Cabo San Lucas. They clicked right away and were fast friends. When Brosnan was away, he would mail her plane tickets home because he missed her so much. We were a natural match.
Pierce is a loving father and grandpa to his five children and three grandkids.
It’s safe to say that when Brosnan looks back on his life, he won’t have many regrets. The actor’s life hasn’t always been sunshine and roses; he experienced heartbreaking loss over two decades, first when he became a widower and then, 22 years later, when he lost his daughter to the same illness that had claimed her mother’s life.
It’s true that it’s tough to accept that the Goldeneye actor has reached an age when he should slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
Seeing his children, who are now grown ups with their own careers and lives, is one of the best reminders of this. Paris, his youngest kid, is twenty-one years old and a dead ringer for Pierce at that age.
Pierce has five children in all; two with his current wife, Keely Shaye Smith, one with his ex-wife Cassandra Harris, and two adopted from Cassandra’s first marriage in 1986.
Pierce’s heart will always be broken with the loss of his daughter Charlotte to ovarian cancer in 2013.
However, he has never wavered in his commitment to being actively engaged in the lives of his other children, and it seems that Dylan and Paris are following in their renowned father’s footsteps.
Dylan, Pierce’s oldest, works in the fashion industry, the music industry, and cinema. Paris, meantime, is a movie buff and a professional model.
The youngest of the actor’s children, Paris is also the one who most resembles their father, the James Bond star.
According to Paris, “he’s the best coach they could have ever asked for.”
Dylan and Paris Brosnan were kept out of the public eye for the most part as they were growing up, surprising their father’s supporters.
In particular, Paris’s appearance at the Golden Globes event attracted a lot of attention because of how much of a young Pierce it made him seem like.
Indeed, whenever Pierce and Paris are seen together, the internet explodes with comments about how much they look alike.
Paris is a model (not surprising, considering his family), but he is also a kind human being who wants to improve the world. The 21-year-old was inspired to film a documentary after seeing the good works of the UN World Food Programme in Sri Lanka.
Paris accompanied the WFP on their travels to schools and farms in the nation for the documentary, which was made to bring attention to the fight against child hunger in the country.
While it may seem that Pierce’s two boys are destined to make a career off their good looks and ability in front of the camera, both are allegedly serious when it comes to their academics and were featured on the cover of GQ Korea in May.
Dylan graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, while Paris debuted his paintings at Art Basel Miami in 2021.
Both Dylan and Paris have praised their father’s impact on their lives. Dylan said in a 2020 interview:

These days, Pierce seems to value his relationships with those closest to him above everything else. Brosnan has a hidden property in Hawaii that he acquired to escape the spotlight.
The actor has given himself all to his craft. Earlier this year, he gave followers a peek inside his studio and showed them some of his work, which sparked a bit of a frenzy due to the high quality of his creations.
Their lovely beachside home in Kauai, Hawaii, sits on five acres of property. The family has been commuting between this house and their property in Malibu, California, since purchasing the former in 2002.
During the COVID-19 epidemic, the family spent most of their time in Hawaii and prioritised spending time outside.
I don’t know whether you’re a Pierce Brosnan fan, but he’s one of my favourites. He has a lovely family, and I hope for nothing but the best for them.
