“They were brought to the (city) shelter as orphans at approximately 1.5 weeks of age,” rescue director Laura Malone told Love Meow.
Unweaned infants require bottle-feeding experience, which is scarcer, so we prioritize them.Laura began feeding the four birds around-the-clock and arranging them in a warm, comfortable nest.
Cinna (tabby) had difficulty grasping the bottle, whereas Finnick (orange), Primrose (tabby), and Rue (black) adapted to their new lifestyle with ease.
“Over the course of two days, Cinna did not acquire much weight and was hardly flourishing. “However, he eventually turned a corner and learned how to eat,” Laura told Love Meow.
