Although Sherio has encountered many difficulties throughout his life, he has not allowed these setbacks to make him bitter or uncaring.

Sherio had to find a permanent home despite the fact that he was partially blind and deaf. His arduous path included two shelters, twelve foster homes, and four adoptions that ended in returns.

But luck was on Sherio’s side when he met Sheryl Smith, a kind person who accepted him despite his flaws. Smith, who is no stranger to taking in stray or abandoned animals, saw something special in Sherio and chose to take him in.
