She lost one of her offspring to a fox, which made her extremely protective and aggressive towards anyone approaching her other kids.
We wanted to save her and her surviving puppies because they were in danger during the frigid, windy season. Therefore, we attempted to develop her trust. When we attempted to rescue her puppies,
she became anxious and resisted, fearing that we would steal them. After some caressing and reassurance, we were able to capture them on our second attempt.
The next obstacle was getting her into a carrier, but when she heard her offspring meowing, she astonished us by willingly entering. We took the entire family to the veterinarian for an exam.
